Bookmark a Website in Chrome

Having bookmarks saves time as you access your favorite or frequently used websites.

Go to the website (URL) that you want to save as a bookmark.

  1. Click the Chrome menu (3 horizontal lines).
  2. Select "Bookmark"
  3. Then when the bookmark dropdown apprears select "Bookmark This Page"

Change the Name if you want and assign it to a folder then click "Done."

You will notice that the star at the far right of the website address line is now yellow, identifing that it is a favorite.

Based on the folder I selected when creating the boomark, it is showing up on the bookmark bar.

The shortcut for setting a bookmark is to simply click the white star at the end of the omnibox, give the bookmark a name, and assign it to a folder as above. The star will turn yellow, indicating that the site is now a favorite or bookmarked.
