Disconnecting Your Google Account

Because of all the information stored in your Google Account, it is important to log out of your Google Account completely when using a public computer. There are two steps to logging out completely.

Logging out of Google

Go to https://www.google.com. 

In the top right corner, click on your account icon. Then, click Sign Out in the menu.

This action will log you out of all Google products, like GMail, Google Drive, and Google Calendar.

Logging out of Chrome

Even if you've logged out of Google, you may still be logged into Chrome.

To disconnect your Chrome account, click the Chrome menu (three lines) and click on Settings from the menu.

Click Disconnect you Google Account.

Click the check box to clear everything from the computer (it will be saved in your Chrome account), and then click Disconnect account.
